The last time Providence won a state championship wasn’t that long ago, but long ago enough that freshman Aaron Vaughn was still in elementary school. The year was 2014, and for the first time since that unforgettable championship season, the Celtics are 3-0 after running all over visiting St. Laurence 35-6 at Bishop Kaffer Stadium and Matt Senffner Field in New Lenox.
