Alando Tucker is happy for the opportunity to join the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball program as an interim assistant coach. He just wishes it was under better circumstances.

Wisconsin coach Greg Gard announced July 30 that Tucker, 35, a 2002 Lockport Township graduate and All-State basketball player for the Porters, would be back on the Badgers bench. When he was at the University of Wisconsin between 2002-2007, Tucker became the school’s all-time leading scorer.
