Lockport senior Kaleb Thompson has been wrestling at 120 pounds, but he dropped down to 113 for the Tom Lahey Invitational.

That brought on a couple of challenges.

“It was a hard [weight] cut, so I was a little shaky,” Thompson said. “But I think I finally put it together in that last match.”

Indeed, he did.

Thompson dropping to 113 set up a clash with Crystal Lake South’s Christian Olsen in one of the tournament’s top matches.
