Providence got the message after the opening game of its best-of-three Kennedy Cup semifinals against St. Rita. Just because the Celtics were the top seed does not mean it was going to be easy. The Mustangs jumped to an early two-goal lead in Game 1 before Providence rallied for a 4-3 overtime victory. The Celtics made sure Game 2 was much less dramatic. They grabbed the lead early and never relinquished it, rolling to a 6-2 win on Thursday, Feb. 13, at Southwest Ice Arena in Crestwood.
