A little bit of teamwork goes a long way in helping the environment and beautifying a neighborhood.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, the Village of Homer Glen celebrated Homer Glen Lands Day – in conjunction with the National Public Lands Day – by inviting residents to enjoy public land while helping to pick up litter in parks, along streets and around homes with a Community Cleanup. Along with having an opportunity to give back, participants were also entered into a drawing for prizes.
