To encourage families to read with their children, Butler School launched a video series in September.

“There is a lot of research that shows that there’s definitely a benefit to having this kind of family time not only for social peace between parents and their kids, but also to fall in love with reading,” said Melissa Onesto, principal of the school. “It’s a great way to bond, whether the child reads or the parents read to him or her.”
