The Village board of Homer Glen met in person and over conference call on March 25 to approve the COVID-19 Emergency Small Business Assistance Loan Program.

The program would give a $10,000 line of credit for businesses closed as a result of COVID-19 preventative measures. The first priority will be for businesses that were mandated to close, such as bars and restaurants. Following them, other commercial businesses will fill the second tier of priority, and non-commercial businesses such as offices will also be eligible.
