Eggs, bunnies and flowers are considered, for different reasons, to be among the symbols of spring. And while sightings of the latter two during the first few chilly and damp weeks of the season of rebirth have been rare here in the southwest suburbs, eggs — in particular, the bright-colored, surprise-filled variety — were in high supply April 9 at St. Bernard Parish in Homer Glen.
