When Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005, Joyce Zelazik and her brother, Frank Klimala, acted quickly to help.

Klimala, who owns a trucking company called Horizon Freight Systems, donated a truck and driver to head south to deliver donations to help those affected, and Zelazik, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group in Homer Glen, used her contacts to help get the permits and paperwork to make it happen.
