Law enforcement to remain engaged in anti-drunken driving campaign for county
2:33 pm CDT September 1, 2015

As summer winds down, the Will County Sheriff’s Office is ramping up its traffic enforcement efforts as part of the national crackdown on drunken driving. The high-visibility campaign, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, is a partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Illinois Department of Transportation to curb drunken and drugged driving and to save lives. Through Labor Day, Sept. 7, law enforcement partners nationwide and all around Illinois will show zero tolerance for drunken driving.
