When Belinda O’Brien, volunteer coordinator at Heartland Hospice Care in Frankfort, told her friend Jennifer Larson, a mother of two in Girl Scouts Troop 70149 of Lockport/Homer Glen that they were low on blankets to give to veterans in hospice care, Larson immediately contacted troop leader Monica Dobrzanski to see if the seventh-grade girls in the troop could help.
