The wait goes on for Christine Hare. The Homer Glen resident was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease in 2008, which is a hereditary disorder causing cysts to form on the kidneys, making them enlarged. In early 2015, her kidneys were found to be failing, and her doctor recommended peritoneal dialysis.
