There was plenty for Lockport and Providence sports fans to cheer about in 2017. Teams won a number of different titles, including an historic state title from the LTHS wrestling team. Below, we do our best to take a look back at the top athletic achievements of the past year.

• LTHS dance team takes third place at conference meet Jan. 11.

• Lockport boys bowling team places second in the 12-team Oswego East Regional Jan. 14 to advance to the sectional.
