Keegan Roberson defeats Kiefer Duncan to claim his individual title at 112 pounds for Homer Jr. High at the invitational.
Peter Kontonis is a first-year wrestler for Homer Jr. High who competed as the team’s heavyweight at roughly 216 pounds at the invitational. The heavyweight division is 275 pounds, meaning he gave up 50 pounds to other wrestlers, but he was able to be an individual champion by making up for it with his speed and agility.
Paul Rasp was an individual champion for Homer Jr. High at 119 pounds at the invitational. He had only two weeks of practice under his belt but is extremely strong and a quick learner.
Michael Holland is an eighth-grader who rounded out the individual champions for Homer Jr. High at the invitational, winning his title at 167 pounds.
