Homer residents become second in community to have solar panels installed since 2010

Homer Glen residents Beth and Rich Coulter recently had solar panels installed on the roof of their home. The Coulters decided to get them after Rich’s colleague at work had them installed on his home in Massachusetts. Photos submitted
The process of installing the solar panels took a month, starting in early October. The installation was completed the second week of November, with 16 panels on the south side of the roof, and 26 panels on the west side.
