Nick Strysik had been waiting all day for this moment. With the game tied at 1-1 and his teammate Jake Suchor with a nice lead off the bag at second, Strysik crushed a line drive to center field for an RBI single. That would be all the Porters needed to snap Chicago Christian’s 32-game winning streak — the 11th longest in Illinois High School Association baseball history — Thursday, May 11, at home.
