Providence limited Nazareth to just 144 total yards during last Saturday’s Class 6A semifinal game at Bishop Kaffer Stadium at Matt Senffner Field in New Lenox.

Normally, that kind of defensive effort would be enough to win, but not this time, as the Roadrunners took advantage of turnovers and outplayed the Celtics on special teams to earn a 24-7 victory and a berth in this weekend’s state title game.
