“Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’ into the future….” as the song says. Do you, as I do, turn the calendar page from June to July and think, “Wow! Summer’s almost over already?” The time slips by quickly.
Too often we’ve wished some of the time away: “I can hardly wait for the weekend,” and “We really need a rainy day,” and “Will the rain ever stop?”
Too easily we let today go by because we are so focused on tomorrow, good things though they may be: “I wish that baby would hurry up and be born!”
