The Homer Township Chamber of Commerce is helping co-host a town hall meeting on the budget impasse 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the Chicago Southland Chamber Offices at St. Xavier University, 18230 Orland Parkway in Orland Park. This event will bring together diverse stakeholders, including small business owners, nonprofits, universities and area residents to discuss how the political stalemate in Springfield has affected their communities.

With a few brush strokes of vivid paints and a few sips of imported wines, 22nd Century Media Plus program members recently painted their own set of wine glasses during a free members-only event.

Held at Art a la Carte in Orland Park, 10 members of the digital membership program drew inspiration from the art studio’s painted glasses or came with their own ideas to paint on their blank glass canvasses.
