Three Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 schools are listed on a site that propagates anonymous image sharing, often of nude photographs, according to reports.

This time of year means the start of the bulk of 5Ks and other races people can run or walk in throughout the warmer months. This week’s News Cover Story on Page 3 features the Lockport Township High School Foundation’s seventh annual 5K Run/Walk, an event to raise money for the school that saw its biggest crowd yet. Hundreds of joggers and walkers lined up early on a Sunday morning and ran around the perimeter of the school.

Homer Glen residents can dispose of unwanted holiday lights through the Will County Green program.

Will County offers 13 free permanent dropoff locations for unwanted holiday lights and electronics.

Residents can also call for a front door collection pickup for $25. Front door collections can be scheduled from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Frankfort Fire builds apartment for safety education

Dave Mosier caulked the top edge of living room windowpane, as a wood panel was hitched in through the front door. After little more than a day, construction of the one-bedroom flat was almost complete, minus a bathtub, furniture and clean paint job.

The fact that it would not need plumbing, electricity or a roof sped things up.
