A relatively mild winter made snow removal easier this year for the Homer Township Highway Department. Homer Township Highway Commissioner Mike DeVivo said that since getting a new salt dome about three years ago, the department has been able to better the manage the salt and is in “excellent” shape after this “extremely quiet” winter.

Young Orland Park resident plays three roles in Visión Latino’s ‘Just Like Us’

Orland Park resident Dylan Cruz has spent 17 of his 22 years involved with acting.

His latest project involved playing three characters in Visión Latino Theatre Company’s production of “Just Like Us” at Chicago Dramatists.
